Meet our 2026 Holiday Wreath! It's an E. Frances tradition that we look forward to every year.
Why does everyone put a wreath on their door, anyway?
As it turns out, when people started hanging it on their doors, it was called a welcome ring... which is awesome and funny and definitely what we are going to start calling it around here. But long before that, it dates back to the ancient Greeks where it meant victory, then became a symbol of eternity, then everlasting love. All pretty awesome.
We paint our own welcome ring every year!
Not to celebrate victory (even though one of our kids unfailingly puts it on his head), but as a welcoming symbol of the season.

We believe that connection (to other humans) is one of the most important things for happiness, and nothing says come on in like a beautiful wreath, I mean welcome ring, on the door.
This year we wanted fun colors, pink and turquoise and bright, happy ribbons. Ali painted luscious laurel greens and it might be our favorite one yet. If you see it on a door, or a cute boy's head... come in, come in!
Check out some years' past, and let us know what you want to see next!
